Ginny Hunt was Founding Director for Product, Policy and Procurement at the US Digital Service. Prior, she spent eight years at Google in technical program management and was a teaching fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Ginny Hunt joined the USDS directly from Google, relocating from Mountain View to Washington, D.C. The transition gave her a front-row perspective on the tensions between government and industry norms. During her three years at the White House, Ginny perceived a power imbalance between “technical” and “non-technical” roles.
